So, here I am at work......For those that don't know, I'm breastfeeding and I pump at work. Well my pump it's been acting a bit weird for a while, so today of all days it stop working! I'm freaking out because I normally pump just enough for the next day. On top of all I have a bad weekend, I haven't sleep all weekend, and I'm starting to hat dh family...well some of them. Agrrrrrrrr
Sorry I needed to vent.....it's hasn't been a good morning
My aunt as always saved the day, she went and got me a new pump. We were going to rent one but they were telling her that the accessories we have for my wouldn't work with the rental one and that she would have to go to another place and find the parts there, so she ended up buying one, so I was able to pump. So now we have the extra pump, that we are going to send back for service. Pumping is so stressful, I did not know how what I was getting into.....
it certainly isnt easy hunny.
that is exactly why i have 3 pumps. 1 electric and 2 manual ones (the manual ones are the same ones i had for ds but hers broke after a few weeks so i bought 2 cos i loved them!)
mark thought i was mad for having 3 but im sure when i show him this he will realise im not, im just prepared for the worst!!!
im glad your aunt was able to help sweety
Friends are the family you choose yourself and I love my JM sisters!
(((HUGS))) Pumping is HARD but so worth it! I did it for DD and I am doing it for DS now. And I also have like 3 different pumps And I always carry my Medela manual pump in my electric bag just incase!
YAY for your aunt and I hope you week gets much much better!
Oh, you poor thing! I'm glad you were able to remedy the situation and get another pump. I wasn't very good at pumping. It was the pump I had, I'm sure. The thing reminded me of a bike pump and it took my chest and stretched my bbs to the point that they looked like I could make balloon animals out of them while I was pumping. TMI, I know. But, it was horrible! I didn't know that they could stretch like that
I really hope your day gets better. And, I hope you get some sleep tonight!!!!
