Cecil had his one month check-up today...He is getting to be such a beefcake..He is now 22.5" long and weighs 8lbs 7oz. He started out at 20.5" and 6lbs 11oz so he has grown 2 " and put on 1lb 12oz. This month has just gone flying by and he has changed sooo much!!
We also got the OKto go to demand feeding and not scheduled feeding now so YAY!!!! I thought that meant that I could start sleeping more at night, but Cecil had other plans today. He has been wanting to feed every 1/2 hour since 9PM and it's now 1:30am! Hopefully he will soon get some sleep so that I can follow suite!
Ohh hun, I hope he lets you sleep a little bit longer....I remember Alex used to wake up every two hours, it was like he had an alarm next to him Soon he will be sleeping more at night, one thing that you can try (if you want to sleep more at night) is not letting him sleep too much during the day, it worked wonders with Alex, and now he sleeps through the night.
Great appointment, and OMG he's so long, he's longer than Alex and he's almost 4 month! It seems like he is doing awesome, great job.
Wow! He is really growing fast. That's probably why he wants to eat every 30 minutes! Tell Cecil it's time to let mommy get some sleep! I used to hate getting up in the middle of the night until I saw how cute they were...and then, it suddenly got so much better. I think that's why God makes them so darn cute....so we tolerate feedings in the middle of the night
Happy one month Cecil! Time does go by so quickly. Feeding will get better. Gabriella is still breastfed on demand and she goes to bed about 9:30 and wakes about 5 am then sleeps for another 3 hours. She lived on the boob the first few months.
