I think I may jave just lost my mucous plug (or part of it).

Since my appt yesterday afternoon, I have had some spotting (bloody return). By this morning it was pretty much gone. I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped I got a huge glob of bloody mucous. It was definitely different than the spotting or creamy discharge that I've had.

I hope this is a sign that things are coming soon. (I am so ready!!!)

I don't know. I'm trying not to hold too much weight in ANYTHING so I don't get disappointed. I've thought of googling it, but we are all told to step away from googling.

Not necessarily 24-48 hours. It's possible, but doesn't guarantee anything.

BUT! It is a good sign! Losing the plug generally means softening/effacing of the cervix. WOOHOO!!!

I'm still here!!! Next appt is on Wednesday. If she doesn't come by then, we will schedule induction for the following Thursday (18th). Overall I feel pretty good. I think the fact that my list is done and I am READY is making it a little easier to just relax right now. Of course there are still things I COULD be doing, but all the basics/requirements are done.

I hope you go into labour soon so you don't need to be induced. My fingers are crossed for you. Either way, sleep lots while you can!
