It was a struggle for me during pregnancy....but nursing makes me feel thirsty ALL the time. So, I'm drinking tons now. I also drink lots of milk and occasionally cranberry juice. I don't drink caffiene even when I'm not preg or nursing because it gives me a headache.
No caffeine here. I drink water, probably not enough. I start each day with a big glass (16 oz) so that at least I start out right! I'm so sick of sprite and the empty calories from soda. I don't do aspartame, either. (I know many women that do, and it's not a problem, but, I just don't.) I drink cran-grape mixed with LaCroix, too. That's really good on a hot day!
I have a great water bottle that I carry around with me everywhere. I've slowed down a bit, but used to get 10-12 cups every day. Lately, it's been more like 6-8 with the occasional day where I get more. The only other thing I drink is milk and the occasional juice. I'm not a coffee or tea person (even when I'm not pregnant) and I drink so little soda that giving it up during the pregnancy hasn't been hard. I do drink the occasional Izzy (100% fruit juice mixed with sparkling water -- no sugars excpet for what is natural in the fruit juice). I think I've had about 4 or 5 since I've been pregnant.
