I've just been to the loo and when I wiped it was pretty wet but I didn't look at the tissue... On the last wipe I looked down and there was red blood on it I am so upset and in shock. I know people have bleeding and it is then fine... But again comparing it to last time I didn't have any bleeding, even after the fetus had died at 8 weeks... I didn't have the D&C until 4 weeks later and there was no spotting at all so I didn't expect to see anything this time even if there was something wrong. God I am just so upset I can't stop crying

I can so imagine what you are feeling!!! I thought it was the end for me again when I wiped brown last week. I would go to the ER tomorrow. Get an ultrasound, otherwise you will always wonder. I hope everything is ok!! ( I know a few girls who had full on period like bleeding and succesful pregnancies!!)

Thanks girls, I've managed to stop crying.

I've check twice more and I am wiping brown/redish blood whereas earlier it was red... so I guess that is a good sign... It is heavier than regular spotting though... ie a few very small drops are getting to my liner... but they are brown.

dh is at workand will be home later this arvo... He's home tomorrow so if I am still bleeding we will go to the hospital for an ultrasound.

Thanks so much!

It's normal but after a loss it's even more scary. I pray everything is perfectly fine.

I dont blame you for crying! I'm sure you're worried, but, as everyone has said, spotting can be completely normal. If it's not accompanied by severe cramping and an increase in bleeding, I'd try to stay positive. Two of my sisters bled heavily during two of their PGs and everything turned out fine. Hang in there and update us as soon as you can! Big hugs heading your way. Let us know how you're doing!

Oh cherished, how scary for you Try and hang in there, I know it is hard. I hope the bleeding has stopped by now but if not I would go to the hospital tomorrow for a scan and BT. Make sure you get lots of cuddles from your DH.

Sending you loads of *stickyvibes*

Hey hun, I have had several episodes of spotting/bleeding this pregnancy and everything is ok. I know it is scary, I still freak out everytime I see blood, and I know this is way easier said than done, but try to stay positive and hang in there hun - bleeding is'nt always something to worry about!

ohhhhh thanks SO MUCH girls! I've been doing nothing all day but sitting on the couch, 2 hours ago the blood was bright red again but it seems to have gone back to brown now which is good... I am thinking of going to the hospital tomorrow with dh if I am still bleeding, I might go even if I"m not bleeding, I think I might call the hospital and see how much of a hassle it would be, eg waiting etc etc you know what public hospitals are like!.... BUT I've heard that you can't always see a heart beat at 6 weeks so if we didn't see one I would be totally freaked out! I might post a poll to see what other's experience with a 6 week scan have been....
