Well so I brought Alex to work on Friday, just so that I could spend more time with him and heck, I want my baby with me. So the night before he seemed to have a bit of diarrhea which we always monitor closely. Well, after his second feeding here at work, I changed his diaper and it was horrible poor little guy, so I rush him to the doctors. He has a stomach virus, but he's just fine a bit cranky at time but who wouldn't be, he had some diarrhea yesterday so we'll see how today goes.

Poor Alex. It's so hard when they're sick. They can't tell you how they feel, poor little guys. I hope he is better soon!

It's so hard when they are sick, especially when they can't tell you "what hurts". All you want to do is help them and make them feel better. I hope sweet little Alex feels better soon. Poor little guy.

Thanks girls, he is doing much better now. Also the babysitter said yesterday that she noticed that his top teeth are coming out . I read that babies get diarrhea when they are teething, has this happened to any of your kids?

OMG, already? I thought the bottom ones come first! I've heard that about the diarrhea also with teething and also low grade fever. Tyler has been fussy and drooling like crazy, but I keep looking at his lower gums, maybe I should look at the top, too

WE thought the bottom ones were coming out because we saw a white stop on his gums but it seems like the top are the ones that are coming out. Ales is also drooling like crazy I have to put a bib on him so that he's clothes will stay dry

Sounds like teething to me. Yes runny poops are very common with teeting, as is the drooling. Hope he pops one out soon so he feels better.

That sounds like teething to me, too. You can give him some tylenol if he really seems uncomfortable (I only used during teething if Connor couldn't sleep) frozen teething rings are good.

Lara, I think it is teething but we'll find out in another week when I get him for his 4 months appointment. As of yesterday he hasn't had any diarrhea, YAY!

Crying. Loose poops. Drooling...Yep, they seem to leak from everywhere when they're teething Bottom teeth don't have to come in first, altough it is the most common way for them to come in. Robbie had one bottom tooth and one top tooth come in. He looked like a jack-o-lantern.

Glad to hear Alex is feeling better. KUP

On a funny note......
the babysitter called me at work earlier this morning to tell me that Alex poop through his clothes. She said that there was almost no poop in his diaper
That's my boy

Way to go Alex...poop out the leghole and over the top. Isn't it amazing where they can get that stuff to go?
