I had Jordan and Lily in the hospital. I was thinking about the birthing centre for this one, I was thinking about a home birth but then I got freaked out about being so far from a hospital. But now even the birthin centre is out of the question, I will have to deliver at the main hospital due to the fact I will need antibiotics during labour

I'll be having my baby at home. I assist 4 different midwives in two practices at home and birthing center births, and that coupled with research has proved to me that it is by far the best and safest option for my family.

Both birthing centers I work at have antibiotics for administration in labor. I would be suprised if the birthing centers over there don't also have the same capabilities.

Hospital -- There weren't any birthing centers around here that would take our insurance.

I delivered at our brand new local hospital with both girls. It is really nice and the staff was very supportive of my wanting to have as few interventions as possible. I also had a doula present for both births.

Hospital. I have a family history of emergencies during labor (my mother hemorrhaged every time, along with several other family members having random issues), so while I've never been anything but healthy, I'm scared enough not to risk it. Sometimes even an ambulance ride is too far.

If I weren't so paranoid though, I would love a birthing center.
