My name is Angela. I have 2 children and had a m/c in December of 08. I am currently 9.5 weeks pg (as I was when I found out last time there was no hb).
This pg. is different than my first 2. At 4 weeks I spotted for about a week, and took it as a sign I would m/c, but somehow I didn't. I have severe m/s, which I didn't have with my first 2, but did with the short time of my last pg. I am so paranoid about everything. I thought once I got past the spotting, I'd be ok, but I can't get past this lingering feeling that I'm still going to m/c. I'm sure this is normal after a loss, I'm sure a lot of you have gone through the same thing.
Anyway, I'd like to join and post my paranoid questions
Hi Angela! Welcome to PAL! Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm so excited for you! After a loss it's understandable that you're worrying. But, it doesn't mean anything is wrong. So far, everything is going so well for you. I'm glad the spotting has stopped and you're heading into your second trimester in just a few weeks! Feel free to jump right in and post all of your worries and questions. I know that whenever I have posted here, the women have been fantastic. You'll find tremendous support and kindness here. You'll also find out that your worries are similar to what we all have felt (and sometimes still feel). I hope your m/s isn't hitting you too hard. And, please KUP on how you're doing. Welcome again!
Im so sorry for your loss hun, but congrats on this pregnancy! I understand your worries too, I am just over 26weeks now and I still worry! I dont think I will stop worrying until I am holding my baby in my arms.
I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months!
My first weight loss goal is to lose 21lbs, which is 10% of my body weight
