2 losses, now pregnant

I have just joined JustMommies. My name is Janelle. I am pregnant with our 1st child who is due 12/06/2009. My husband Aaron and I have had 2 losses. Our son Landon Daniel was born at 16w6d on 06/14/2005 and our son Gabriel Lucah was born at 18w2d on 01/27/2008. I have Incompetent Cervix and have a cerclage in place this time around, and a new ob. We are praying for a healthy child this pregnancy. We found out we were expecting Landon from an 'oops' that pleasently surprised us. We decided to wait some before trying again. We got pregnant with Gabriel on the 1st try and since then, I have put my career on hold and work at home. It is time for us to start a family. We both come from large families and hope to be able to have a large family ourselves. We will have to see how things go.

Pregnancy after losses is terrifying. Especially as you approach the points when you lost your angels. But we're here for you whenever you need us.

Thank you Brittanie. It really is terrifying. I have heard many good things about the cerclage, so my hopes are high. I will take a look at the loss board, thank you.

Welcome to PAL! I'm so sorry about your losses. It's good to hear that you got some answers regarding your cervix and a new OB. My sister had an incompetent cervix and had a cerclage put in place for her 3rd pregnancy. She carried to term and her son just graduated from high school last weekend. I'll be saying prayers that your PG goes well

I look forward to getting to know you. As Brittanie said, PAL is pretty scary. This is a fantastic group of ladies. I don't know what I would have done without the JM mommies and all of their wisdom and support. Jump right in so we can get to know you! Welcome again !!!!
