I wanted to come introduce myself, since I am freshly pregnant.
My name is Heather, DH is Matt and we are now pregnant again! We were very blessed to catch the eggie on our first cycle.
We got pregnant right after getting married...with an "oopsie". Then we lost our little one at 8 weeks in April. It was so devastating but we knew that as soon as we could try, we would.
My EDD is March 4th, 2010....I'm still trying to wrap my head around that 2010 part because - that is NEXT YEAR, haha. So far away! My midwife gave me the choice at my last appointment (before I was pg again) that we could do beta's or I could just go in at 7/8 weeks for an early ultrasound. I decided to go with the ultrasound and against the beta's....I would much rather wait a little longer than stress about numbers being high enough or doubling fast enough, etc.
I am looking forward to gettting to know all you ladies!
Oh and my BFP pics from this morning (we actually tested yesterday for Father's Day and got a faint line...this mornings was MUCH better!) at 11 DPO.
Heather! Oh my gosh! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am sooo excited for you. What a fantastic Father's Day...a BFP! Welcome to PAL! It's great to have you here! This is a fantastic group of women. And, you'll know many of them from TTCAL! I also didn't have betas done with this PG. I stressed way too much with them the last time. So, I also opted for the early u/s. Jump right in so everyone can get to know you! And, I'm wishing you a happy and healthy nine months!
Thanks for the warm welcome ladies!!! I am so excited to be PG again. I can cross my first worry off my list.
Thanks Angela....I actually am dealing with a little bit of guilt from getting PG again on the first try. I know I am super fertile and getting pregnant wasn't the problem last time - it was staying pregnant - so I have no idea why I feel so guilty. I think its because I know so many wonderful ladies now that have been trying for so long.
