We were gonna bbq on father's day for dh dad, mom, sister, and her bf. His parents called to say they were running a bit late. as dh was talking to his mom, his dad told her to call 911. He was having chest pains and thought he was having a heart attack. I don't know if some of you remember, but right after Tyler was born fil had to have an artificial artery in his leg. He still has to have one put in his neck sometime this year. Well, he hasn't been feeling well since the surgery. Come to find out a few weeks ago, they said the incision sight had gotten infected. So he's been on antibiotics. Well, 911 came out and said he almost had a heat stroke. The antibiotics that he's on, you aren't supposed to be out in the heat AT ALL. Well, no one told them this and they didn't read the bottle Anyway, sil brought them over to our house and we went ahead and bbq. He still isn't feeling good and keeps getting dizzy. So, he goes to see his heart dr this afternoon. Please say a prayer that it's nothing serious and he will be okay. Thanks ladies.
Wow...that must have been sooo scary. I'm glad things turned out so far and I'm hoping things continue to look good when he sees his doc. Let us know how it goes! Heat stroke can be really scary! And, the fact that no one told him to stay out of the heat with his meds is disappointing! I hope he feels better. KUP
