What things are different/the same with this pregnancy if you compare it to your others?
I'm older this time and I've either forgotten what PG entails, my body is slowly shutting down and falling apart as each day goes by, or this PG is very different than all of my others. I am soooo tired all of the time. Doesn't that normally go away after the first tri? And My joints are killing me. I think Im coming unhinged!!! All of my pgs were a little different, but this one is markedly different from the others. I will obviously happily tolerate it all because in the end it's worth it. But, I'm just wondering if it's just me I'm walking like I'm 80+ yrs old!
My pg with Haley was much easier than mine with Tyler. I was never sick with Haley, never had bh, nothing. With Tyler, I had bh, sick for 20 weeks, gestational diabetes, sciatic nerve, etc. I guess since I was also 34 when I was pg that my body responded different from when I had Haley. I was 29 when I was pg with her. It's all worth it in the end.
Different in many ways. With both boys I hardly ever was sick, except the last trimester this time It's gotten worse with each trimester. I'm 4 years older but healthier so this pregnancy is easier on my aches and pains. I'm enjoying this pregnancy more than with the boys. With Nick I was already swelling bad, BP was up, heart rate through the roof, with Jon I was on heart meds. This time I'm not on heart meds and everything is going great. I just have to make sure her butt stays in longer than 32 wks.
This pregnancy is very much like when I was pregnant with Lily. I think thats why I just 'knew' she was a girl from day 1! The only thing different is that I have heartburn with this baby, I have never had it before. People keep telling me it means my baby will have tons of hair lol
My first weight loss goal is to lose 21lbs, which is 10% of my body weight
Kelty, I think some pregnancies can just be WAY different than others. I'm not that much older....and I'm not that old, but mine was like yours, markedly different. I had tons of contractions starting at about 24 weeks. I felt crudier all the way around. I had kidney stones and then I had cholestatis. None of this happened with Cori. I also carried differently. I carried much more out front and got stretch marks on my belly (with Cori they were on my hips). Everyone thought the baby would be a boy because things were so different. But she is all girl!
