I had an u/s this afternoon to check baby's size because of the GD. Well I just got back and thought I would post an update.

She is measuring on time with the exception of her tummy being a little on the large side. The OB said she is not overly worried about it at the moment, but I have to go back in 4 weeks so that they can do another u/s and measure her again.

I didnt get any pictures though, they only give them out at dating u/s and the 20w u/s which kinda sucks But I am happy I got to see her again, the OB showed me the screen and pointed out that baby was sucking her thumb, it was so cute to watch She is in head down position which explains the kicks to the ribs Ive been getting today

I don't mean to sound clueless but what it mean that her stomach is measuring on the large side? Is it a problem for the baby?
I'm glad to got to see her again. Do you have any names in mind?

I have no idea, I asked but they told me not to worry about it at the moment because it can be a normal thing for women who have gestational diabetes. I refuse to google because I will find horrible things and I will freak out lol, so if the OB is'nt worried at the moment then I figure I should'nt worry either. And no name yet in afraid, I dont think she will have one until she is born lol

If your doctor is not worry I wouldn't worry either. DO you have like a couple of names and then when she is born you'll pick one of those names?
