So I had a 30 week appointment today, and I had to see a few people. I had to see the OB, a midwife and an OB that specilalises with women with GD and stuff.

All went well with the midwife and my usual OB. Baby has a nice strong heartbeat and was moving around loads. My blood pressure is fine, and once again my urine is clear of protein so I am pleased with that. I have 2 u/s booked now, one for 4th August and one for the 25th August. They just want to check baby is'nt growing too big because of the GD.

Anyway, the doctor I saw regarding the GD was'nt very pleased with my glucose levels after meals. So they have put me on some sort of insulin tablets? I have to go back in 2 weeks to see him again and if the tablets are'nt helping I will be going on insulin injections So I really hope these tablets work!

I'm glad to hear that the baby is doing well. As for the GD, I'm sorry, I'm pretty sure it's no fun, did they put you in any kind of diet? I hope those pills work.

Oh, I really hope the tablets work, too! Shots wouldn't be very fun! I'm so glad to hear that your little one is doing well. And, it's great hearing that you get to have more u/s!!!! (I love u/s!) Hopefully everything will continue to go well. And, you get to have appointments every two weeks. That's always a sign to me that the "finish line" is in view! Yay!!!! Let us know how the tablets are working.

I'm glad baby and you are doing well Kat. My levels weren't good first thing in the mornings. I had to the insulin shots at night. They really aren't bad if you have to wind up doing that. I had the option of the pill or the shot. I hope the pill works for you. PM me if you have any questions honey!
