I actually don't know, I just starting sleeping on my side early on, just so that I could get use to it.

My OB actually hasn't even mentioned it to me yet, but my pregnancy book said 16 weeks so I've been sleeping on side since then.

I never knew you were'nt actually allowed to sleep on your back I just recently started sleeping on my side due to the fact I find breathing a bit difficult when laid on my back now

I was told 20 wks. And, I have to say...I have always been a side sleeper until the past few years. Then I started sleeping on my back. I'm finding it pretty uncomfortableto go back to my side. I toos and turn all night. I just bought some new pillows to help. Sweet dreams!
