UPS finally delivered my box, had the diaper champ and diapers in it...

It was so strange seeing and actually feeling the diapers...gave me a little thrill, then I got nervous and put everything back in the box, its in my closet now, I can avoid it for a few more weeks, I won't be unpacking it because we are sorting and packing for our move in April (so excited about that by the way, the new apt is soo cool).

I still find my mind drifting to the diapers and diaper holder tucked in my closet...

haha I even opened one diaper and smelled it (probably the ONLY time I will want to smell a diaper)

Weird, exciting and scary all rolled up into one.

I am expecting 3 more "baby" packages... then no more buying until we move...trying to be cautiously happy. I don't see the baby again until April 3rd so in the mean time I am always looking out for her kicks and shifting, I don't have a doppler, I want one but I don't want to turn obsessed about it....I can see myself now, waking up at 2, 4, 5 am just to "check"

Ahh the experience of pregnancy mixed in with a little paranoia

I don't think you would be that bad with a doppler. I love having my Doppler and I only use it once a day. Right before I go to bed. That is the best sound in the world to get you to relax and go to sleep.

awww I never thought of that I'm getting really good at preditcing when she will be most active, I swear 5pm is like her happy hour kicking up a storm, dancing on my bladder and all...then its pretty quiet until 9 ish and she is rolly polly softer nudges until I fall asleep. :-)

I think we will rent one (have to check prices on owning one) at week 30 (Lord willing).

That way I can look forward to something to mark that milestone

Awwww.....I know how you feel....I was smelling this diaper sample we got. And I look at all the baby stuff we purchased and it still feels like a dream. We've waited soooo long for a baby and now that the time is near, I'm apprehensive and worried that we aren't going to make it.

I feel for you....I'm right there with you.
