So what's the best way to remedy this? I have one on my thigh, and I thought it was just a bug bite at first.... then I started messing with it. Now my whole friggin' leg is inflammed! I poked at it to see if I could see the hair, but it must be deep. So I peroxided, Neosporined, and Band-Aid-ed.

This morning it still hurts but not as bad. I'm afraid if I take the Band-Aid off I won't be able to resist poking at it again. Surely there is some old-wives-tale remedy... anyone know of anything, other than cutting my leg off?

The only thing I can think of that I use to do even with a pimple or so. Is hot/warm cloth. It speeds up the process of bring it to the surface because it opens your pores a bit more. It won't work instanly but maybe a day or so it should be easier to deal with.

Man, this thing went from bad to worse to almost gone. I couldn't leave it alone, which of course, caused it to become inflammed. Then I could barely walk it was so painful. The hair is so short that I can't see it yet. I put hot towels on it and let the hot water hit it in the shower. That paid off, and everything came to a head, so to speak. Now it's almost gone.

I swear, when I'm rich I am getting electrolysis over my entire body. This is ridiculous!
