Hi,

Have any of you experienced lower back pain in early pg?

I had a lot of lower back pain last night and I read that it can be an early sign of an mc so I am a bit scared.

Margo

I am not exactly sure if it is a good sign or not.
I had gone to the Drs. once because I was having a bad back ache and they asked if I was pregnant.
Thats the only thing I can tell you sorry, it might not be.
Sometimes when I have like 4 days off in a row from work, my first night back gives my a back ache but it goes away the next few nights until I have a long strentch off again.

You may want to call your Dr. But I do know if your uterus is tilted. You may get some back pain. I do know that this happens to me.

Good Luck

I'd still call your doctor, but I have had lower back pain all along - tilted uterus too. I had a m/c and didn't have back pain with it - so everyone is different.

Thanks for replying. So far everything is good. The lower back pain is gone and ms is slowly kicking in. I will discuss the back pain with my doctor at my first appointment on next Monday.

Glad you're feeling better. Back pain can be normal, but if it gets severe, call your dr
