I had a D&C 11 days ago and a blood test that still showed a very faint positive on Friday....

Saturday evening I tested with an opk, just out of curiosity.....it was negative.....but with the LH line visible....

Last night I tested again and the LH line was slightly thicker......

Do you think it could be O time or is it rest HCG ????

Then again I had a dull pain (like O) pain on my right side (especially when we bd) and I had (I kid you not) about 6" long stretchy mucus before bd.....or could it be leftovers from Saturdays bd (I'm so sorry for tmi !!!!!!) ???????

What is your prognosis ??????

Could it be O ?????

Did any of you use opk's that early after m/c ????

Were they correct ???

Thanks a bunch !!!!!!!!

I've never m/c, but a lot of my friends in the Loss room have. It's TYPICAL for at least 4 weeks topass before seeing AF, which would stand to reason 2 weeks to O. It's not uncommon to see a positive line after D&C, when the hormones are still stabilizing.

It is possible that you could be starting O again this soon.

It is possible that you could be O'ing again. I did, after my 1st m/c and ended up pg with my DD. I had a natural m/c at 6w5d and bled for 9 days. On day 11 after the m/c, we BD'd and I think I O'd right around day 14, because I found myself pg again 4wks after my m/c. I did not use OPK's, though and I was not tracking anything.

Good luck!

Not sure if you know this or not... but there is a TTC after M/C forum too. I was a part of that forum when we were trying after our losses. Lots of info in there too!!

I agree that you could def. be ovulating already. I've heard of it happening that soon before.
