Hey all,

I went ahead and went and seen my mid-wife today, instead of waiting till Tuesday... Because I am still having real bad pains on my left side... When I started having pains on my left side in July '04, 4 doctors told me it was a pulled muscle without running tests.. So I went to physical therapy, it didn't help, pain pills didn't help.. Well after the miscarriage, my mid-wife told me I had a 8 cm cyst pushing all my organs against my left side causing the pain.. so I figured after the laparoscopy to remove my cyst that the pain would leave.. Nope it only got worse, I can't even sleep at night because it hurts so much, and pain pills didn't phase it..

So I went to see my midwife, she checked my cuts from the surgery and said I am TTC again, and I told her about the pain.. She got my old sonograms out and said "Tabatha did you know you had lil multiple cysts on both your ovaries?" I said "No I didn't" she said "Yes, and that could be causing the pelvic pain" So she did another sonogram today, and yes I have multiple cysts on both my ovaries, and she diagnosed me with PCOS.

I wasn't expecting this.. I was hoping she'd say its probably just arthritis... But no she didn't, and now ontop of everything I been through, I now have PCOS.
She gave me a pamplet on it and I was born with PCOS, but later in life symptoms start to occur. 2 of the symptoms is pelvic pain, and miscarriage.

Does anyone else have PCOS?

I know Melissa (Alisteal) has PCOS. You may want to stop by the Infertility board also for questions and support. (((((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))
