I had a little leak this morning right after getting out of bed. As I was seeing my ob at 10.45 I thought I'd just keep an eye on it. So I had no more fluid between that and seeing him. He did an internal and found that my waters looked in tact from that end he said that I could've broken my hindwaters- meaning from the top and as this is further from the bottom risk of infection is not so high but after finding out last week that my results for the strep B test were positive he doesn't want my waters to be broken and do nothing. At this stage I just have to sit tight and wait for something to happen. Bub is not yet engaged, head down but not yet engaged but after my DS I'm not assuming that means I've got a while to go. My ob also checked my cervix and said I haven't begun to dilate yet. I'm just so stressed that this bub is going to come on christmas eve and I'm so worried about ruining the whole excitement of santa thing for DS. To add to it all their monitoring me for pre- eclampsia because my feet have just exploded and I'm in so much pain with them.
Sorry girls I just had to vent, feeling very stressed and don't know how to feel about it all.

Hang in there Sarah ~ it won't be long now! What a magical Christmas present for your DS if tigger does come....a new sibling and a visit from Santa!
But tigger will come when the time is meant to be....try to relax between now and then, hun. Thinking of you. xx

You are doing great. Don't worry sounds like he isn't planning to visit for a bit. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and DS enjoys Santa's visit. I agree with meh he would probably just think that was a bonus . Toys and a new baby wohoo .
ohoh....try to relax. I hope you can hold out for a few more days and have baby after the holiday excitement! Glad your doctor is monitoring you. Did you get any antibiotics just as a precaution? I'm sure you'll be okay, just take it easy. baby will come when he/she is ready.
I know it's easier said than done, but try to relax!! and good luck - I hope your bub holds on another few days, so you can get past the Christmas point!
Thanks everyone for all your responses. I was up last night vommitting and with mild cramps very low down but then they eventuated to nothing. Then today I've just felt tired and unable to walk without feeling like the baby is gonna fall out. I sound like a winger now I know I'm just so ready to meet my baby and end this pregnancy with the continual vommitting over the past nine months this has just tipped me over the edge, probably feeling a little emotional and anxious too i guess, thanks for listening ladies, really appreciated xxxx

The end of PG is just so dang uncomfortable at times. And the nausea and vomiting must have been ucky. And, combine that with the holidays and you have every right to be a little frustrated. I hope little one either makes a quick appearance before Christmas or waits a few days. KUP and know that you'll be holding your little one soooo soon. Try to stay comfortable and update us when you can!
Aw, it's great your doctor is monitoring you so closely to make sure everything is okay. I know how hard it gets during the last few weeks, and how much worse it must be having nausea/vomiting. I hope your LO holds out to right after Christmas and then decides to make his/her grand appearance. Good luck and happy holidays!
So still hanging around waiting for tiggers arrival. Atleast we got christmas over and done with! Feet still the size of boats but am back to see my ob on tuesday so we'll see what he says.
Hope everyone had a lovely chrissy xx
