Just curious as to how many people have had bad dreams about losing their baby, or having a miscarriage, in a subsequent pregnancy...

Basically every night for the first 8 weeks or so of this pregnancy, I had horrible, horrible dreams where I would either miscarry, or would have the baby & the baby would die. It was to the stage where I was afraid of going to sleep, and it kept me constantly on nerves. I would wake up at 2, 3, 4am in a cold sweat, with my heart racing, and often in tears.....

The dreams have SLOWLY subsided, and luckily since I had my scan on Tuesday & saw a lovely healthy baby, i've not had any bad dreams..... but the dreams from early in pregnancy are still very clear in my mind

Oh gosh, yes. The first couple of weeks was terrible. I would wake up in the middle of the night, trembling, screaming. My DH would have to physically restrain me and hold me and tell me everything was ok. Now, I have dreams about leaving the baby somewhere or it being deformed.

Yes, definitely. I dreamt about it almost nightly throughout my first trimester. And then sometimes a few even into my second trimester. I think it's common because it's one of our biggest fears...

I'm still having them. I have yet to have a "healthy baby" dream, I think. Well, there was the one in which my baby weighed about 80 pounds and I couldn't pick her up without dropping her. I don't know what that means, though.

I was just thinking about my dreams this morning. I hope that they stop soon! I'm sure that once I feel movement regularly, they'll at least slowly get better!
