I've had pink and brown. All I can say is call your doctor. For me, every time it was nothing this time around. The cramping, as early as you are could just be your uterus streaching. Mine cramped regularly until 9 or 10 weeks, and still does a little now. Call your doctor sweetie and try (I know, I know) to relax and take it easy.
Shannon, I would try not to worry (although I know that's COMPLETELY unrealistic)... but consider calling your doctor... maybe she can check you out. I'll keep you in my prayers... I'm thinkin about ya hun!!!

Relax- it could be normal! I had spotting and cramping for the first 12 weeks with this pg- I was sure this pg was doomed many times! I had always heard that brown blood was ok, but when my spotting turned pink and then red, I felt awful! Not to mention I had af like cramps along with it too. I tried talking myself into thinking they werent that bad of cramps, but one day it hit me that this was exactly what af felt like and to face "reality" because I was miscarrying! I would spot every 2-3 days and each time I would, I would take it easy the rest of the day and try not to get up. Also, after sex I spotted too, so we didnt do anything for the first 12 weeks!
I was seriously shocked when we heard a heartbeat at my first appointment- I was expecting to go in and schedule another D&C. I even told my husband not to take off work for my appointment because I was sure there wouldnt be any good news.
This pregnancy, you are going to worry- I still do, but just try to relax and I will definately be thinking positive thoughts for you today.

Try to relax (easier said than done) I didn't have any spotting but My dr. said it can be normal during the first trimester due to all the changes. My sister in law had spotting for about 2 weeks and is now 29 weeks pregnant and doing great. Call your dr. for some re-assurance but I am sure you are worried. Try to rest and call your dr. as soon as you can.
I haven't spotted with this pregnancy, but know plenty of people who have spotted all the way through. Mild cramping and no red is what you want! I hope that your resting paid off and that the spotting has stopped.
Did you call the doc? Did you go in? Any answers???
I hope that it's just normal spotting and nothing else. All of us here understand the noblest attempts to remain optimisitc, but also know that we're all going to freak out at the first sign of anything that *could* be "off".
Good luck and hugs...I hope we get a good update soon!
I have had full heavy red bleeding with this pregnancy and everything is fine with the baby and know lots of people who have spotted so as hard as it may be stay positive and hope for the best. I will be praying for you and your bean.
