... and everything went well. I saw the backup backup midwife & she was lovely. She's going to be doing all my post-natal visits, so it was good to meet her. She was so friendly & funny, she made me feel really really comfortable - so it's great to know that whoever I end up with on the day (most likely my primary midwife, but you never can be sure!), I will be happy & feel comfortable with!

BP is fine... Emersyn's h/b was fine, but she kept kicking the doppler away - was so funny... I had been worried before my appt because I hadn't felt any movement, but she must have been asleep & woke up when I lay down for the doppler. Her h/b was around 145bpm I think. Ummm slight trace of protein in my urine, but there has been for the past three urine tests I've done, and it's only been classed as +1, so the m/w said it's obviously just 'the norm' for me.

Go back at... 29w... got my form to get my 28w blood tests & GTT done - oh joy ...

So a nice boring appointment.. I have the high risk ob at 28w1d & then the m/w at 29w1d......

Yeah for good appointments! - heehee - my last one we couldn't get the HB on the doppler b/c baby would just kick it and move. My midwife just said - well I can say just by watching your belly move - the little one is just fine!

thanks ladies... my protein has been at +1 for the past 3 tests they've done (so.. about 10 weeks?), but my b/p is fine & everything else is, so the m/w thinks it's just the norm for me.. but of course they're keeping an eye on it
