I just use my regular lotion and some cocoa butter type lotion that my MIL gave me. It doesn't help at all though. I think the stretch marks are worse than with my DD I hate stretch marks.... sigh.

I've never used any cream or lotion of any kind and I've never gotten stretch marks. I'm hoping that I am lucky again this pregnancy. Stretch marks are mostly genetic and my mom didn't get any when she was pregnant and neither of my sisters did either.

I didn't use any as well but I was told a very cute story by an older woman when I was pregnant with my DD. I mentioned something about figures, bellies, stretching - and she said "You girls now. It's all about getting thin after. In my day, that figure..." (and she gestured to a pregnant woman) "THAT was the figure to be envied."

So I think of that sometimes and I think of how sweet it is. Years from now, years and years when we are old and gray (grayer in my case and not that many years away) I'm going to look back and think about these conception years and I'm going to treasure the veins, the scars, my butt so large that I keep hitting the Fridge DJ... um hmm. I'm going to think "Now THIS, this is the figure to be envied." The figure of a mom. So your stretch marks, as unsightly as they may seem to be, are beautiful! (oh just smack me, go ahead. Pollyanna over here!) )

Na, I don't bother... I know I'm going to get them, but I'm not ashamed of them, or upset by them.. they're just a part of pregnancy, for me

I use Palmers but I think I will get them! My mom did and she didn't even gain that much weight....I'm doomed.

I've been using the stretch mark cream from Thyme Maternity, but that will end once this bottle is done since palmers stretch mark cream is so much cheaper. I just found out about Motherhood maternity, and they sell it there for about half the price of the stretch mark cream at Thyme. I feel like if I had started with Palmers, I might not have gotten stretch marks on my hips, since the cream from Thyme is $20.00 a tube I only put it on about every second day.

I got a couple bottles of cream for belly and breasts from a coworker...she originally bought them from Thyme Maternity. I've used that a couple times when I remembered. I mostly just use regular lotion.
