[B]will you be cooking dinner ? Yes.. this year I wanted to make dinner with just Abrielle, DH and I. No one else. My family has issues so sometimes I feel like I have to do all the holidays to make everyone else happy. Well, this time DH and I just want to enjoy it with just the 3 of us! I am making a ham, scalloped potatoes, deviled eggs, and a strawberry dessert. DH is a vegetarian and he is having fake ham lunch meat and everything else.
do you make any special dishes? Above...
do you decorate for Easter? No... I pretty much only decorate for Christmas and do a pretty table for Thanksgiving.
do you buy candy? make up baskets? Yes... but DD is allergic to peanuts, so buying candy is a challenge. Most chocolate has some kind of peanut allergy warning. So I mostly put in toys. Right now she is really into coloring and drawing so I put markers, paper, a coloring book, and play-doh. I couldn't find a chocolate bunny (allergy) but I did find a big hershey kiss.
hide eggs? We are getting ready to go to an egg hunt right now at a local church!! Apparently, at 10:30 am they will be dropping the eggs from a helicopter to start off the hunt!! I am super excited
send cards? I am totally not a card person! I am the worst at sending cards!

I choose #7, none of the above.

We go to DH's mom's or sister's house. His sister has triplets, 2 girls 1 boy and we don't usually get them anything. If we do, it's games for their Nintendo DS'. They're nine and ideas are running out for these kids.

As for my family, we haven't celebrated Easter in over 10 years. Usually my sisters go to there husbands family's house and since it was just me, mom and dad, we didn't do much.

do you buy candy? make up baskets? nope, my inlaws do baskets and we go over there every Easter for a big Easter egg hunt with all the cousins. Since I have two diabetic children we usually limit it to the candy they get over there.
hide eggs? see above
send cards? nope, guess I'm kind of lame when it comes to Easter festivities
