They are only 17. I'm not even late for my period yet, it would have arrived. The DR's office just called and went over how they think it should be 200 by now. Does this make sense? I haven't even missed my P yet. I'm technically only 3 weeks 6 days. They are concerned about ectopic. I'm just going to keep thinking positive and that my numbers will go up when i go back tomorrow. GRRRR.....there has got to be good news, i can't go thru this a 5th time.

Any have low Betas to start and go on to have a healthy pregnancy?

Your number sounds OK to me, especially depending on when you O'd.
I had to go back and check mine, at 11 dpo it was 48 and then at 13 dpo it was 201- and they were high because at the time I had twins.
I think it's premature for them to say anything! You could have just gotten an early positive!

Sending you lot's of sticky dust!!

When did you get your BFP?? If it was a couple of days ago then 17 sounds about right. With the old FRER my beta was 8 and it showed up on the FRER as a very faint positive. So I wouldn't worry yet. Sending you tons of doubling dust!!!! Why would they think ectopic? Aren't the numbers usually high with an ectopic?

I agree, I think they sound fine. I can't remember what mine were, but they were on the lower end, but as long as they double, you're OK. I wouldn't worry just yet.

I got a faint faint positive on an aswer two days ago. I would have been getting my P tomorrow. I'm thinking that they have to cover there butts and put out there that this could be what is happening. No need to forwarn me, i've been thru 4 losses, i know that it can happen. GRRRR.....I go back tomorrow morning so hopefully they will continue to rise. I just tried to run up the stairs here at work and i though my BB's were going to fall off, they are so huge, heavy and painful, so that makes me think that something is still going on in there. They want me to test every two days for a while. I am comforted that i am going to be followed so closely.

17 sounds perfect if you had a faint positive 2 days ago

I think docs just speak before they think most of the time

I can't wait to hear what the repeat Beta is

doubling

I responded on the TTCAl... But I agree with everyone else.... My HCG was 57 at 12dpo.. with twins...

It is the doubling time.. not the initial numbers.. Keep Faith!! HUGS!

I don't think it's bad either. I have to wait till after I missed my period to get even the faintest line. Really the actual number means very little - it's all the doubling time (72 not 48 hours)
Sooooo - lots of doubling for you!!!!!!

I got my bfp at 10 dpo and had my hcg levels checked at 12 dpo. My 12 dpo was 20. It's hard to say for sure, but it is definitely within the realm of normal. Good luck sweetie and lots of doubling vibes for you. ((Hugs))

Hope everything turns out just fine. It does seem premature to be talking ectopic.

they sound pretty on track for being 3w6d, if you ask me!!!!!!! Especially if you were a little later implanting! The most important thing is to see what the next lot of numbers do.

good luck

My first beta with Juliana was 18....I'm not sure on the DPO, but it had to have been around 12 or 13 dpo. I also had fairly low progesterone...low enough that I was borderline of whether to put me on supplements (they didn't) and at one point my #s didn't double, they went from 3800 to 5900. Also, I spotted a bit. All this AFTER 3 losses. BUT.....she came out just fine!!
