I dont even know if i am yet but the thought is terrifing me. I lost my precious angel Adam in 1997 due to still birth it was caused from being to far overdue. now im experincing signs of pregnacy and im terrified and scared but also a little excited im scared the smae thing will happen again and the baby will die. im terrified because unlike my last time i have health issues that make me a high risk. and of course im excited about the possiblity of finely filling a void in my heart with the child i always dreamed of having. are these normal feeling to have? any one here experinced still birth that went ahead and had another child? if so how did you deal with all the emotions? any input would be helpful
thanks
stacey

Hugs honey. My son Eli was stillborn on August 29th, 2009. I am now pregnant with another son due August 29th, 2010. You just have to take it a day at a time and try to be as positive as you can be. You have to remember that this is a different pregnancy and a different child. It's difficult, but it's worth it. I hope you get your rainbow baby soon.

those feelings are all very natural to have - pregnancy after loss is a scary, daunting - but also exciting time....

good luck!!!

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you ladies that have had whose babies were born still. My losses were all early and I can't imagine going through what you have. My mom actually had a baby that died shortly after birth. She went on to have both my brother and me.

I think what you are feeling is only natural. I pray that you will be able to hold you baby in your arms soon.

I'm so sorry for your loss! It is totally natural to be scared after you've had a loss. There is no reason why you should experience that again, especially if the dr.s monitor you carefully and make sure that you do not go overdue this time.
CONGRATS!!! Wishing you a H&H 9 months!!

My losses have been early - so not exatly the same - but still - Yes! You are totally normal! big biig hugs! We are here and are happy to listen to and support you! In your case - make sure you get good prenatal care - and really everything should be just fine. You will be scared but chances are fantastic that everything will turn out perfect!

Thanks every one for your support i wasnt able to log on for a few days cause my internet was down. I am suppose to go for an ultrasound this week i hope and hopefully i will find out if i am in fact pregnet. Im happy, sad, exited and everything all at the same time. I cant help but notice other women with babies and kids and cant resist going into the baby departments which i use to dread. Im hoping i am and this time around technology is better and i will have prenatel care from early on and i know the only date i had unprotected intercousre so im sure that will help and i also have many people praying for me. I feel for all those who have lost babies on here and hopefully oneday we will all get our chance to have and hold our own. thanks again.

Welcome Stacey. I'm so very sorry for your loss. My loss was an early loss as well. I imagine that all of us feel a certain amount of paranoia while pg after a loss.
