I think I over did it this evening. I went shopping for some more things for my hospital bag. I was in the check out line and realized that one of the items I was purchasing didn't have a tag. So I walked very fast to get one with the tags on it. I also have been walking pretty fast throughout the day because I have been crazy busy at work. Well, while at the store I started feeling achey. I am now sitting and I feel crampy. A couple of times I felt tightness and crampiness at the same time, but only two-three times. Now I am just feeling constantly crampy and occasionally I feel my belly tighten. I feel baby moving around so I think he is ok.

So is it something I should be worried about? Should I just relax and see if it gets better? I know what labor feels like, but I only ever had intense contractions. I never felt small contractions that got more intense over time. I also don't remember having this with Abrielle.

it is possible you over did it....or maybe even pulled something.
OR maybe it is Braxton Hicks?
try taking it easy, drink plenty of water and see if the cramping subsides...if not I would call your dr. Just to ease your mind...and ours
please keep us posted !

It could either be braxton hicks or round ligament pain, that can be painful! I did the same thing yesterday. I went shopping for over 3 hours and carried a couple of heavy things back to the car. Boy, did I pay for it for about half an hour or so afterwards. I was in terrible pain. I just found somewhere to sit down and had a drink to make sure I wasn't dehydrated. It did pass. I had the same pain again today but it didn't last nearly as long.

Hope it eases for you soon and remember to take it easy

Thanks ladies! I did just what you said last night and took it easy and drank water. DH and I went to bed not too long after I posted this. I laid on my left side and still felt crampy for a while, but this morning I don't notice anything.

Thanks again!

Sounds like braxton hicks - which can become more frequent if you overdo it...

How are you feeling now?
