as I said, my m/w gave me the number of the booking clerk at the hospital & told me to give her a ring after 4.30, to find out if they have my c/s date confirmed. I rang, got the answering phone - left a message, but didn't expect to hear back, because no one at that dang place rings back!

But she rang back!!!

She told me they don't confirm the c/s date until 36 weeks - to make room for the women who don't decide to, or aren't advised to have a c/s until closer to their EDD, for whatever reason. BUT she could tell me that I SHOULD be good to go on either June 16, or June 17! I will find out in the last week of May, for sure.

Soooooo although I don't have a definate date yet - I have a pretty good indicator of when, so now I can get everyone to arrange leave around the 16-17th June... Finally it starts falling into place!

Tomorrow is April 16 here - so tomorrow or the day after, I have 2 months left!

... June 16 is my cousin's b/day - and I would prefer to not have her on that date, because I don't want Emersyn's birth to be associated with her but lol, it is a whole day earlier than the 17th so.......

it's a relief to have an idea of the date - it means my parents & sister can take leave now, without having to leave it until the last minute. I know that in the end, they will be there - that they'll be given the time off, but I hate to think of them causing problems at work, because of me... kwim? Also means I can tell Emersyn's father, so he can organise flights....
