I am feeling MUCH more sore in my second trimester @ 18 weeks than I did with my first pregnancy. I feel this heaviness all the time, and just sore across my whole belly. It is an effort to get up off the couch, out of bed, and most definitely to chase Owen all day. I took him to the playground today and it was like torture climbing up all the equipment after him. At night, I get scared and lay down when my hubby gets home because I am so afraid I over-did it and don't want to stress the baby any more. Is anyone else feeling this way so early on (if you are around 18 weeks), and do you think it is just that I am more active this time around or could something be wrong? I may just be growing, but it has been 3 weeks of non-stop soreness so I am a bit worried. We have our 18 week u/s this week and OB appt next week so I will ask her then, but just needed some peace of mind. Thanks!

Yeapppppp... Gaby I barely had any round ligament pain - but with Em, I've been experiencing lots of round ligament pain & other 'discomfort'... I spoke to my m/w & she said it's totally normal & it happens because your body knows what to expect, so automatically goes into pregnancy mode, and everything else is a bit less tight, so you do notice the pains etc earlier

I guess it makes sense, more active=more pain but it just doesn't let up. Although it feels a bit better every morning after a night of rest so that gives me a little break.

You have nothing to worry about. I am in so much pain too. RLP and lower abdomen pain, and it even extends down lower sometimes. It's wonderful isn't it?

Just rest and learn how to move differently
