My doc called today and was pleased with my numbers nearly perfectly doubling. He isn't going to to have me retest unless something goes wrong. So now I wait the 2 weeks until I can see the heartbeat.
My question is, though my numbers are doubling, they seem a LOT lower than most others. The 155 was 18 days past from when I am pretty sure I conceived, it is in the "normal" range though on the lower end. Has anyone had a successful pregnancy with lower numbers in the beginning?

I have always been told that the fact they are doubling is far more important than the actual number itself. Dee is right, the range is unbelievable. I am sure if your Dr was worried he would be ordering another blood test.

Good luck with your u/s!

lurking. I just wanted to add that my hcg levels at 9 or 10 dpo were only 9 and I have a healthy baby girl now so I think that your numbers are fine especially since they are doubling

Yeap, as has been said - it's not the numbers themselves, it is that they are doubling in the desired time! I know there were women in my DDC who had high hcg numbers - and went on to miscarry, then women with low hcg numbers - who are now 30-34 weeks pregnant!

Hcg really can mess with your head - but I know it's also really hard to NOT focus on the numbers!!!!

Thanks ladies, I think that is why my doc won't order more. It will drive you NUTS. I am just going try and relax for the next two weeks until we see the heart beat.
