So far I've had mild morning sickness and have only vomited a few times. However I woke last night multiple times needing to be sick. Today I've thrown up 4 times and the day is still fairly young. I texted my husband to bring home some zofran (he's a doc) and until then I am having sips of water.

I guess this strong morning sickness is a good indication? I have my 3rd US this Friday and hope we capture a heartbeat.

I always felt like things were going well when I was sick. For me it was an indicator that my hormones were hard at work So, I hope you feel better, but not so good that it scares you

Can't wait to hear about the u/s!

Kary,
It's interesting you mention that because I thought it would stop the nausea as well. But last night I continued to feel nauseated but didn't throw up anymore.

I was telling my husband that I was surprised at the suddeness and hugh increase of ms I experienced. His response, "It makes me relieved, it means this one is really digging in for the long haul."

How cute!!!!

Sorry about the m/s. How far along are you now? I am 6w-3d and I feel like CRAP. I felt great with my dd so this just sucks. I am not a puker but man have I been sooooooo nauseous!

I am curious...the Zofran doesn't ease the nausea at all??? I had thought about asking for some even though I haven't actually gotten sick yet....

Hope you get feeling better!

Katie

Ugh, I get hyperemesis. It's terrible. When I get pregnant again I'm looking forward to real insurance that will let me try more drugs than the generic for phenergan.

Bless you BG! My ms started a few days ago and I keep telling myself that it's a good thing, but it doesn't feel good!

I am finding that munching/nibbling all day and drinking water helps taper it down. I have a cousin that always said she'd feel sick if she didn't continuously eat while pregnant. I just thought she was making excuses to eat--boy was I wrong!

Sometimes it seems to help a bit but other times it's like I took a sugar pill. Today was a good day though, I took it and even was able to eat some decent food. Better yet, I even kept it down!
