My name is Natalie, I've been a member of TTCAL since December when I had my first m/c at 7w3d. I had another m/c in March at 5w... I do not have any children and I am hoping that third time's a charm . I am trying to stay positive and be super excited but i am so SCARED of having another m/c.

I'm 10 DPO today, have tons of symptoms and two tests showed a second faint line today (the same test showed a BFN at 8 DPO). I feel pregnant and I am pretty sure i am pregnant.

The first test is a BFN at 8DPO
2nd & 3rd tests are at 10DPO

I hope this baby sticks!!!!!

Thank you all ladies!!! i am so happy to be pregnant!!!

I am 10 DPO today...& I am so paranoid that I even went to see an OBGYN today!!! They did a urine test and said that they saw a second line but it was kinda faint. I was told to come back on Monday to test again. But in any case, they said they considered me pregnant!! yay!! My doctor agreed to see me early since i have a history of m/c and we've been TTC for more than a year.

So they prescribed me:
Phenazopyrid 200mg until I am 10 weeks (but I am worried now because I think i saw a different drug name on the prescription...do you think my pharmacy could have made a mistake filling in my prescription?) I googled it and it is supposed to be for treating urinary infection which I don't have....
and baby aspirin

Phenazopyrid 200mg ? Call and check with your doctor. Should this be Prometrium? It is a synthetic Progesterone.

Congrats on the pg!!! Stick baby stick!

thank you

yes, I think the prescription said prometrium but the pharmacy gave me Phenazopyrid instead?

I just called the pharmacy and they said they made a mistake. How stupid is that? Now they told me to bring it back, so I have to drive 40 miles back. I just hope it's not too dangerous because I already took one pill.

W.T.H!!! I can't believe the phramacy made a mistake like that!!! Call your OB and tell him/her what happen and s/he can advise you.

I KNOW that googling while pg is not a good idea but I did it anyways. Here is what drugs.com said:

Phenazopyridine Pregnancy Warnings

Phenazopyridine has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. Animal studies have failed to reveal evidence of fetal harm. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Phenazopyridine is only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.

Call your OB and see what they say but only taking one pill should not harm anything!

Good luck with the progesterone! I have taken it with all my sucessful pg's. And I know a lot of other PAL ladies have too!

Thanks to all of you!!!!

Thank you, ~*Kixs*~ !!! i am so happy I decided to check and thanks for pointing it out too!!! I called back the pharmacy and they admitted their mistake and told me to come back and get Prometrin. I was so mad they made such a mistake!!! Not only I had to drive back but they could have also made a worse mistake and given me something more dangerous. I told them that I took one of those pills already and they said I should be ok.

I hope this baby sticks!!! i am on 7 pills a day so it should work!!! yay!
