Hi Everyone! I had an IUI on Friday and started progesterone gel inserts (prefilled applicators) on Saturday. I am 6 dpo today and have been feeling pregnant for the past few days. Tired, BB's bigger and tingly, really, really bloated the whole 9 yards.... I know it is the progesterone doing this to me. Today though I started feeling tugging and pulling just above my pubic bone like in the bottom part of my uterus. Is this tugging a side effect of the progesterone? It is really getting me excited as I have not felt that since I was pregnant last year.

I didn't use progesterone, but I just wanted to tell you I'm thinking about you and hoping and praying that this is your BFP!!! It sounds really promising.

Oh, and I miss you too honey! Thanks for the encouraging words in my post.

I did oral Prometrium and always started after a BFP so I am not much help... but....

it I don't think that is a side effect? Sounds like it is related to implantation WOOHOOOO Good luck girl!

Thanks girls, I have searched the internet and cant find anywhere that says this could be related to progesterone. I hope I end up back in here for real on Monday! xoxoxo

i had all sorts of weird feelings down there with the progesterone... so it could be, but if you are implanting right now it could just be your uterus!! Sending you lots stick sticky dust

Missy - i was on progesterone for the first trimester of this pregnancy. But I didn't start it until 12 DPO. Hopefully Kary will chime in because I know she was on it earlier than me and was on for a few cycles not just the one I was on.

If I remember correctly she did talk about the sore bbs, the bloat, etc but I do not remember twinges and pulling. Could very well be implanting!!

i haven't been on progesterone, but I can tell you I had a LOT of tugging & pulling & 'feeling' in my uterus, in early pregnancy, with both of my girls.... Hoping it's a great sign for you hun!

I was taking oral prometrium and the only thing I noticed with it is that it made me extremely tired!!! I didn't get any tugging or pulling or cramping with it at all. Actually even with this pregnancy I didn't get the usual AF type cramps you get in the beginning. I think you may finally get that BFP!!!!!! Sending you tons and tons of sticky dust!!!!!!

I'm taking prometrium orally and it does cause sleepiness and other pregnancy symptoms but the only time I felt tugging and pulling was right before I got a BFP. I hope you get your sticky BFP tomorrow!
