I haven't had too much of a problem with heartburn yet. Right now I'm dealing with constant nausea

i was...i literally couldn't remember the last day i had NOT had heartburn/reflux (i feel it all the way up in my throat). I had it last pregnancy too (which just ended in april 09) and it never fully went away between pregnancies. 2 weeks ago my midwife suggested zantac and it has been working wonders. i take 1 75mg tab in the morning and 1 before dinner....i actually can get away with only taking 1 tab per day. i've only taken a total of 3 tums in the last 2 weeks...prior to starting zantac i was taking up to 10 tums per day.

i've also heard papaya enzymes can help.

I have heartburn really bad. I've tried all the natural remedies and haven't found one that works for me yet. I used to have some all natural heartburn tablets made especially for pregnant women that worked for me but I ran out.

Ugh. Yes.

Only thing that will give me any relief now, is Emersyn being born!

OMG I have the worst heartburn ever!!!! That alone keeps me up at nights.

Nothing has really worked...I limp along with Zantac and Tums.

Oh, oh oh...my heartburn was sooo bad. I had experienced bad heartburn with Robbie, but Gaviscon took care of it. When I was PG with Max, there were days that even Gaviscon didn't work. I felt like a flame thrower! I had to sleep sitting up and it didn't always help. For those of you suffering from heartburn, try Gaviscon. But, know that I feel for you. Uck ...it's awful!

Yep. It totally stinks. I take Tums for it at the moment but my doc said if it gets unmanageable, I can take Zantac.

I've definitely found that certain foods trigger it even more-sadly, chocolate is one of those!
