Just thought I'd share this article...really interesting since it's contrary to conventional wisdom that high doses of Vit D during pregnancy might actually cause birth defects, and now it appears they're proving the reverse.

I was diagnosed severely Vit D deficient after giving birth to Savannah, and while I didn't have any significant issues during the pregnancy, I definitely plan to discuss this with my OB when we start TTC-ing again.

ah the million dollar question...DH is not mentally ready yet...but I'm hoping to start in the fall (maybe Oct/Nov timeframe) BUT i really don't want another holiday/winter baby, so if it didn't happen right away I think I might wait until next summer just to try to avoid all the scares we've had with Savannah starting daycare during cold/flu season and getting sick right away while she was so little.
