Well I am super worried about this pregnancy and had my HCG levels taken on monday and they came back at 739 I was meant to get tested again on Monday next week but have been getting pains alot so I went in today and had my levels checked so Im just waiting to see if this lil bean is gonna stick. Is it normal to have a lot of crampy pains in the first few weeks of pregnancy?

I certainly understand the worries.

It is normal to be crampy at the beginning. I was w/ this one as well as at least 1 or 2 of my others that made it.

I'm surprised they were going to make you wait a week before taking HCG's... usually the best way to know what they are doing is to take them at 48 hrs after the first test.

Hope they come back w/ great news for you!!

I had my levels tested 3 times in the beginning of this pregnancy - every 48 hours --- I did have cramping the first couple of weeks and my dr said it was just my uterus stretching and totally normal - I know lots of women in my DDC had it also. I'll be thinking good thoughts for you!

With this pregnancy, I had my hcg levels tested 3x already. First was 17dpo, second was 19dpo, and third was 25dpo. My numbers looked good.

I am not sure how many dpo you were with your 739 numbers. I have found this website,
http://www.conceivingconcepts.com/le...icles/hcg.html, that helped me understand what my numbers meant.

Good luck to you!!! Stick baby stick!!!

The nurse rung yesterday (friday) and my levels went up to 2789. She said that s a great rise. If your levels rise that fast does that mean there could be something wrong?
