I got the official ultrasound report today and I have a small subchorionic bleed. I have not had spotting or cramping so I'm a little confused. From everything I have read this can be serious, but my midwife mentioned it in passing. I had one with my DS, but since the loss this has me freaking out!!

I don't know what to think. She said small, which I have read isn't so much of a "bad thing" but honestly.. I can't handle stress right now.

I had a subchorionic bleed when I was pregnant with Jeremy. I think if it is small it will probably correct itself. I totally understand why you are nervous.

Have you ever taken baby aspirin during your pregnancy? You may want to bring this up with your doctor.

I think they are more common than most people realize. I had some spotting with Juliana, which scared me to death because I had three losses before her. I never knew what it was about, but I remember having the doc discuss the results of one u/s and casually saying, "It looks like the SCH has gone away".....WHAT? They hadn't told me about a SCH. Guess they didn't want me to freak out. Hugs!! I'm sure if it is small, it will just go away like mine did. And if it didn't or got bigger, I'm sure your docs will start monitoring it quite closely.
