I can not wait for this anxiety to go away! I'm so excited we got to see the HB on Monday but I'm still worried because I'm measuring so far behind. I understand that the m/c the previous cycle can throw things off, but I did opk's and tested the day before my period was due- because of symptoms. The docotr said right now (Monday) would put me at just over 5 weeks. That would mean I got a positive test (and it was pretty dark) the day I conceived, or right after.
I know my body doesn't produce huge amounts of HCG right away. I got my BFP with CJ at 9 dpo and that was with twins! No way I could get one before implantation.

Everything else seems so normal- my m/s is horrible along with constipation and back ache (not back cramps). But I feel like I'm still walking on eggshells with this pregnancy.

I know how you feel with the whole walking on eggshells thing. I miscarried in June at 5 weeks 4 days and again in August at 7 weeks 5 days this year no normal cycle in between and am pregnant again no normal cycle once again. Im not even sure how far along this time yet because my doctor says its so early there isnt a visible gestational sac on u/s when he looked he sent me for hcg quant and will be seeing him again 10/22 for result and then he will probably send me for u/s then. I am extremely anxious myself and have even contemplated leaving my job. I wish you luck and my suggestion is keep yourself busy to keep your mind occupied thats what Ive been doing and you are in my prayers.

If you were really 5 weeks, you would not see a heartbeat. You usually can't see that until between 6 and 7 weeks... If you have a tilted uterus it can be hard to get accurate measurements early on. Two of my ultrasounds in the beginning (5w and 5w5d) looked like a blighted ovum with a shrinking gestational sac. I am now 14 weeks (tomorrow) and everything looks perfect!

Try not to worry so much. I know it is hard. I started feeling less anxiety around 10 weeks...

See-t his is exactly what I asked the Dr. Because I know I have a slightly tilted uterus! I'm really trying to push it out of my mind. The baby looked normal, and I am past all my losses except for CJ's twin who never looked normal, in fact the dr at the time was surprised to see a hb when we did, which of course I took on as false hope that s/he was going to be alright. 10 more days till I can peak at my baby again.
