It was 6 months yesterday that our little girl grew her wings. 6 months ago, I was thinking about how much fun it would be to have a newborn on halloween, getting a super cute newborn costume, staying at home with Kaydence passing out candy while my kids went trick or treating. A friend of mine had a baby last year on October 12, and they have a flipping adorable picture of holding her in a carved pumpkin up to her armpits with her head poking out...I was excited to try that with Kaydence LOL! Today was fun, and I got to enjoy trick or treating with my kids, my little one's first trick or treat. I just can't believe it's been 6 months since we lost her, it feels like it just happened.

((hugs)) I can understand.. it can be bittersweet reaching a date you had looked forward to before your loss - and then being pregnant with a different baby on that date.... Time is a crazy old thing.. it's 9 years today since my first loss & at times it feels like it was just yesterday
