How early did you feel movement? When did you think it was the baby moving but not sure if it was just gas?

I'm 10w6d and I think I felt movement today. It wasn't followed by gas and didn't feel like digestive stuff. It has only happened a couple times. With the twins I knew I felt it by 18 weeks. Am I just more aware of it b/c I was pg with them not too long ago? Maybe I am just hoping for movement for confirmation that this pg is progressing. Without any symptoms I will take anything right now to just feel reassured.

What are your thoughts?

The earliest I've ever felt movement was 14wks. I only realized at that point because I was getting an u/s and knew what was going on.

The earliest for me was 16 weeks with Wesley. I did not feel this one until 18 weeks.

about 13 weeks I felt the movement with this pregnancy. With DS it was 16 weeks. I also have an anterior placenta this time so I might have felt movement sooner if I had a posterier placenta.

With my son I felt it during 14 weeks. I'm at the end of 12 weeks now and hoping I'll have the same luck with this one and feel kicking soon!

Hi!

I'm a first time Mama, my placenta is on top (I think that's anterior!?) and I am overweight...so I did not feel movement until week 24-25.

I know that is late but my OB said it was perfectly normal and fine.

Best wishes!!

The first time I felt him and knew it was him was almost 16 weeks, but it was very sporadic after than until close to 20 weeks.

I felt Patrick very early. I was 12 weeks and a couple days when I felt him move for sure, but I was thinking I had for a couple weeks prior to that. I wasn't sure because I was convinced it was just too early to feel. I felt Cora move for sure at around 18 weeks.

Thanks ladies. I saw my midwife on Tuesday and she was very quick to say that there is no way I felt movement and that it was just gas. Maybe she is right. We had an U/S and the baby was giving full body kicks and I couldn't feel it so I am thinking that I am just hopeful to feel the baby move soon.

I felt the occasional roll at about 15 weeks, but it was VERY rare. I don't start feeling consistent undeniable movement until about 18 weeks. I was told that I wouldn't feel it until about 22-24 weeks since I am a first timer AND I have an anterior placenta, but they were wrong! I am 21 weeks and I am now feeling strong kicks.
