The c-section is scheduled for 38W2D because of my clotting disorders. They don't like you to go beyond 38 weeks because the placenta breaks downs there is a higher risk to the baby.

It does feel like just yesterday that I got my BFP! It has gone so fast! Luckily, I am not too uncomfortable. I don't know if it is because I have stayed active (when black friday shopping yesterday and cooked Thanksgiving Thursday) or if it is because of his position - he is still head up. I was swelling last night, so DH has pretty much put me on relaxation rest today

He is head up? That would not be a fun delivery to try! I was like that with my youngest son, I worked the day before he was born and he was a week late! I just stayed busy and active with my older 2 boys and he was the easiest pregnancy and delivery.

I am glad you are not uncomfortable, by the end I was a walking mess with my older 2 boys.

Thanks for the update, It put a warm spot in my heart.

Don't worry, I'll let you know when the big day comes. Unfortunately it may be sooner than anticipated. Our boy is measuring pretty small and there may be a chance that they will induce me. We'll know more after our next u/s on Monday. While I'm excited to meet him, I'm not quite ready yet.

Kim - how crazy would it be that we had the same due date and both our sons end up being born on the same day, 2 weeks early!?!?!?

Is he measuring small by belly measurements or ultrasound?

I will be looking for your update!

Kat.

That would be crazy indeed! I don't know if I would be ready to deliver 2 weeks early.

My belly is measuring a couple of weeks small. They are tracking the baby's growth via u/s. Today's u/s revealed that the baby is still small (by their standards) but is still growing. So no induction yet. Even so, I'm getting as much done this week as I can in case next week they change their minds.
