I am still so crampy and last night I was awake for hours from the pain. So today I called my fertility clinic and they are having me come in for an ultrasound this afternoon. I am really hoping the see a cyst on my ovary or something to explain the pain, or else Im just going to be stuck on bed rest and live in fear that we are going to lose this one as well. And really? Bed rest at not even 5 weeks? How do I manage this?

Hey Tobi, I just wanted to check in and see how your ultrasound went. I remember the cramping in the beginning and it's like a cruel joke on those of us that have experienced a loss already. I really hope that your little bean is just planting in nice and deep for a long ride and that you can be off bed rest soon. 35 weeks of bed rest is a long time!! Hang in there.

My ultrasound went good. Everything looks good, so theres no explanation so far for the cramps. I will be seeing my Dr tomorrow morning for follow up, so Im hoping he has some answers for us...

I'm always crampy in early pregnancy. (((hugs))) it freaked me out the whole time - and then I felt better around 8 weeks and that freaked me out

Tobi I've been cramping as well especially like 9-10dpo and even up until now, altho the cramps have changed a little and aren't as constant... it's scary, but I keep thinking it's a good thing like our uterine lining is getting thicker and thicker due to the hormones, baby implanted, placenta starting to grow since the baby is burrowing in there and the fact that our uteruses are expanding because we're newly pregnant versus sloffing off due to an af. Either way I'm praying it's a good thing! I feel very much like you do sweetie.... all we can do is take it one day at a time while trying to enjoy each day we have with our babies. It's all out of our control as much as we loathe that. Wish we had a little window to see our babies growing!!!

Love you sweetie take it easy and update us with you appt from this morning!

Back from the Dr! He put me on an aspirin a day, and is happy with seeing the sac on the u/s. I go back in just over a week for another u/s to try to see the heartbeat. Other than that, he said, just wait and see.
