So we got our test results back from the Down Syndrome blood test. The nurse called and said that everything looked good and that the test was normal!! DH was too cute. He listened to the voicemail and started jumping up and down saying "Yes! Yes! Yes!" I really didn't think that there would be anything bad coming back from that test though. I now it is always a possibility but since we saw the baby on the u/s last visit I knew that it would be fine.

When I was pg with the twins the results of the test came back positive for spina bifada and it started the onset of bad news. We went in for the Level II u/s and that was when we found out that Baby A was fine and a girl and Baby B had no hb. Then we went in for our 20 wk visit and found out that Baby A had no hb. They told us that the test came back positive b/c Baby B was already passing and the break down of protein was in my blood.

I am glad to be past that milestone but the big one for me is the 21 week mark when we had to deliver the twins. Once I get there I feel like I will be more at ease. Only 4 more weeks till then.

That's great news, Michelle!

I'm torn -- I want June to come quick for you, but that means my little girl will be TWO. They grow up so fast. Enjoy every moment.

Are you feeling movement yet? Maybe it's still a little early -- mine was about 18 weeks, I think.

I too want June to come quickly in a way but I also want to enjoy every minute of this!

I haven't felt movement yet and everytime I think I do it is followed by gas. Oh well I know I will get there soon. I am trying to be patient until that point or my appt on the 18th when I can hear the hb again and feel confirmed that everything is going to be ok.

It's funny b/c part of me feels like things are going to be fine but then part of me can't let go of the fear of what we went through. I am just trying to keep in mind that God was with us before and he will be with us through whatever happens. I just need to continue to trust Him and His process with this baby. I am just not very patient so it is a true test of my character right now!!

Congratulations! Very cute about your hubby. It is always surprising to me how they seem so tough and unemotional, but then a moment happens when you realize how much it all affects them too. Just wait till you see him holding that little one!

I agree. I have actually been really surprised at how into the pg he has been. I have been told that men can't connect until way after the baby is born and he has been rubbing and talking to my belly more than I have. It is really cute and I am trying to soak up his excitement as it helps me get excited.
