Hi ladies! I'm new around here.. I had a loss a month ago Jan 23rd at exactly 5 weeks. My OB ran one set of blood tests and I was supposed to go back a week later and didnt.. well I know my OB said AF could take up to 8 weeks to come back but if it was a "normal" cycle I would have expected it 2 days ago.. well my bbs are soo sore again like last month and i was feeling oh so bloated. So I took a test this morning just to see and man were those lines DARK before I could even flush the toilet! part of me is worried it's residual, is that possible? or is this a new one? SO and I tried waiting until my next cycle so we used a condom once and it broke anyway, go figure lol so we decided to let nature take its course... I'm nervous about this so soon but also kind of excited.. hopefully It's a sticky bean!
I'll be calling my OB pretty shortly to make an appt to check but wanted to make a little intro! :-)

It is possible either way. I know I had a positive test just before the first post m/c AF showed, but it was light, not dark at all. It could also mean retained material. So it's good that you'll be seeing you Dr. either way. I hope that it is it for you though!

Oh, and Welcome!!

Good luck and keep us posted!!

Hi Jessica, I'm Jessica, too. Welcome to my world! I just spent the last 2.5 weeks waiting for confirmation of my new pregnancy (I opted not to do the blood work). Like you, I had a super dark line and return of pregnancy symptoms, but still worried that it was residual. It was definitely a new pregnancy for me, confirmed today by u/s. I hope you get confirmation!
