My had my d&e done on Nov 9, because I was 15 weeks I produced milk after which took some time to dry up. Still if I squeeze I'll get some out. I know it is ok to feel some sensitivity in the breast during pregnancy but i keep getting the lil burning sensation like i am leaking. Is this normal? And will I begin leaking colostrum sooner then normal because of this?
Leaking in pregnancy can be a normal symptom. I am not sure when it normally starts though. I had my milk come in after our first loss . But during my next pregnancy I didn't have leaking. It had also been 9 months between our loss and our next BFP. So I don't know if that makes a difference.
I have heard lots of people complain about leaking, even with a first pregnancy and no prior losses. You are sort of early to have it already, but maybe it's a good sign? It means some hormones are flowing, right? I don't think it's too worrisome, but you can always ask your doctor...
I nursed DD until I was about 5 weeks pregnant, then I had the loss at 9 weeks and continued to leak. It started again just before I got my BFP. I don't leak anymore, but I do have dry white stuff in my nipples that I can pick out (gross I know), and the tingling/burning happens alot still. My OB said it was normal, so I hope so.
As for the colostum, I'm not sure.
