So I am having this achy pain on my right side. Its not sharp pains but its there and its uncomfortable. It seems to be just above my hip. I tried to google it but everything is round ligament and I don't think that is what this is. I am just sitting here and the achiness is there . I don't know if it is something I should call my dr about or just hope the day goes fast and I can go home and lay down. Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies.

I do have round ligament pain a lot. And sometimes it's just on my right or left side. Hmmm . . . . I'm not really sure though. Have you tried a heating pad maybe? I would maybe take a Tylenol and use a heating pad while resting and see if that helps. But if it gets TOO painful, you may want to call your doc!

I am stuck at work or I would go lay down and hope it passes. I did call the doc and walk a bit. That helped for a few now its come back . I am waiting on a call back. I hope she will say its nothing.

They think it is round ligament pain but to keep an eye on it and take some tylenol. And rest and drink lots of fluids. I might have to see about getting some tylenol. I leave work in an hour and DH said he would take DS to the swim lessons so I can go home and lay down and rest. They said if it gets worse or doesn't go away to call or go to urgent care.

Round ligament pain is usually a VERY intense sharp pain that goes away again quickly. They come on when you lift, turn, or stand/bend the wrong way.

It sounds like you may have pulled a muscle. Easy to do with all those muscle/joint relaxing hormones flowing around. Or you may have popped your hip out of joint! That happened to my SIL and she said it was REALLY painful, she went to some specialist and they popped it back in, took just a second and she was instantly better. Or you may have just strained some joint or ligament around there. Right around the sides above the hips is where the most stretching and stuff is going on.

Honestly I'm quite sure it has nothing to do with your little one, it's almost certainly one of those issues from the stretching going on. So while annoying and worth a call to the doctor (for a referral to a chiropractor perhaps?), nothing to really worry about. KUP!!!!

I hope it's nothing. I'm thinking muscle or ligament pain, like you pulled something or another. I did that once with DD and it took a couple of days to fully go away.

KUP!

I used to get pains like that with my son...from all I could figure it was his positioning...and he was born fine...with no complications

I get all sorts of weird pains. Things are changing and your body is trying to adjust. I would definitely keep an eye on it, and make sure it doesn't get worse....

Feel better soon!

It went away for awhile when I was driving home but has come back. I think when I overdue it that doesn't help . It is more of a growing pain. I can't believe how much more achy I feel this time. I hope that is a good thing . Thanks everyone.

I'm sure you'll be fine. I have so many weird pains and I always worry but nothing has happened. Every pain and twinge and cramp I freak out lol. I'm sure you'll be okay, Just have a warm bath and put your feet up! you'll relax and be fine soon enough!

I had pains like that and I thought maybe it was a cyst or something but they saw nothing on ultrasound. My OB said she thought it was just my uterus growing and stretching. I still get it occasionally but not as bad as before. Tylenol never helped me. I usually just had to make sure I was drinking enough and lay down for awhile. I hope it doesn't continue. Growing pains suck.
