I was just looking at my early ultrasound pictures. When you compare them to his newborn pictures, it really is miraculous!

7 weeks gestation and 1 week after birth. Amazing eh?

The human body is an amazing thing. Every time I read something about it, I am in awe of the complexity and the chemistry of everything working together.

Aw, how flippin' cute is he???

It really is amazing! and then in the first year they triple their body weight. I look at newborn pics of my daughter and at her now at 21 months and it is amazing how she has grown and changed.

Take lots of pictures! It goes by too fast.

I know!! I still do this with Liam and he is 18 months. I look at that little sonogram picture of him at 8 weeks and think "How is it that I knew nothing about who you were then?" It makes me cry STILL! Lol. It never ceases to amaze me how awesome our bodies are and how miraculous each and every baby really is.

I agree with taking a lot of pictures. And keep the "ugly ones." Some of those we look back at now and just laugh like mad because he looks so weird and I can remember the moments we took them (and attempted or thought of deleting them).

Peter is adorable and I bet you are just basking in the new glow of motherhood (okay, some of that glow is more like under-eye circles...but at least you have a great reason!)
