What are you getting for a carseat?
Do you already have one?
Brand, color, details?

I already have one. One of the few things we kept because we used it for so long. It's a generic colored Graco infant seat with winnie the Pooh on it. I like it because we have 2 bases for it and it fits on our double stroller and on our swing. I washed it before storing it and it still looks new, plus, it's not past the expiration date (who knew car seats expired?) I'm glad there's one thing I don't have to buy again.

Oh yeah, car seats expire... they are always raising the standards, and the foam breaks down and becomes less protective over time too. I'm glad yours has not expired yet, Rebecca!

I have a Graco Snugride. It's not in a cute color or anything, it is plain grey and black, but I like that about it. It goes with everything. We have yet to practice setting it up. I think I will probably burst into tears or something when we have it actually installed in the car! That's going to wait until week 37 or so though.

Yeah, my other one expired this year, so I got rid of it (before I was pregnant, but I still would have wanted a new one)

I think we're getting this one
Baby Trend Columbia Infant Car Seat - Green/ Gray : Target

I have a Graco Snugride in the Amelia pattern for Cady. It was part of my travel system I had for Cameron.

Cameron is in a Britax Marathon CS (still rearfacing at 17 months ) and will stay in that till she's 2. If we keep her rearfacing past 2 we'll get either another Marathon or a Roundabout for Cady or we'll get a Frontier for Cameron and put Cady in the Marathon we have. The Marathon is in the Emily pattern.

I have a Graco one that we used with DD. They expire after 5 years, don't they??? It's a neutral color which worked out great for us!

Yes I believe they expire at 5 years or if you are in a car accident. You should always replace a car seat after an accident.
I am looking at Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat - Miro - Chicco - Babies "R" Us
I have heard they have a better safety rating than the Graco snugrides right now. I still have some research and of course to check that it will fit in the truck. I like the bright happy yellow . I like the snugrides too though. Ultimately it will come down to what fits in our truck. I got rid of both of my kids car seats. And they would have been expired either way.
I love the britax convertibles for when they get older and still rear facing.

We will be getting either a Graco SnugRide 35 or Graco MyRide65 , which one we buy first will depend on what car i'm driving in November. If i'm driving my van again we'll go with the GracoMyRide, but if i'm still stuck driving hubby's truck it will be the SnugRide because i know that should have no issue fitting on the bench seat in general and between to other car seats.

I've sort of collected them over time...lol. I probably have 4 or 5 in the basement. I think they've probably expired, so I think we'd buy a new one with two bases for our cars.
